A 45 minute practice of movement and mindfulness for ages 9-13 years.

Yoga inspired movement, body awareness and appreciation, mindfulness and relaxation.

What is Teen / Tween Yoga?

Teen/Tween Yoga is a specially designed Yoga class for young people aged 9 to 13. It's a fun, age-appropriate introduction to yoga that blends movement, mindfulness, and relaxation in a supportive and non-competitive environment.

Taught by Studio Owner Karine, who is a fully qualified KiDO Kids Yoga Teacher, a Mental Health First Aider, and has an enhanced DBS.

She has many years of experience working with teens and tweens in the Birmingham community with various charities.

What’s Involved?

Yoga Movements – Gentle to moderate yoga poses (asanas) to improve strength, flexibility, posture, and balance.

Mindfulness Exercises – Breathwork, body scans, and present-moment awareness techniques to help manage stress and build focus.

Body Appreciation – Encouraging a healthy, positive relationship with the body by celebrating what it can do, not how it looks.

Relaxation – Guided relaxation to help unwind, reduce anxiety, increase calm, and develop emotional regulation skills.

Classes may also include partner poses, games, journaling, or light discussion depending on the group and setting.

All equipment is provided.

Who is it suitable for?

Those who are 9-13 years old.

Teen/Tween Yoga is generally inclusive and adaptable, but may not be suitable for:

Children with significant mobility limitations or medical conditions (without medical clearance)

Those experiencing severe mental health challenges (e.g., untreated trauma, severe anxiety disorders) that require specialized therapeutic support

Children who are unable to follow group instructions or need one-on-one assistance due to developmental or behavioral challenges (unless accommodations can be made).

Booking Information

Single class = £12

4 Week Block = £40 (save £8)

Please book via the Yoga Borne online shop.

Ensure you are booking correctly - 1 class or the block of 4.

Single class bookings will be for the next available date - you will receive confirmation of your booking and date via email.

Book under your own name, and you will be emailed to provide the name and basic details about your child.

These details must be emailed back in good time prior to the class, for the H&S of your child.

A small discount is offered for siblings - please contact us via hello@yogaborne.com

As a small business we do not offer refunds, exchanges or carry overs.
