Studio Assistant Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our community-focused independent Yoga studio as an Assistant Studio Manager.

This part-time role will involve supporting the Studio Manager (Owner & Director) in the day-to-day operations of the studio, including managing teachers, cover teachers, and front-of-house staff.

Location:

Mainly home based, with flexibility to attend the studio when required.

Responsibilities:

1. Assisting in the scheduling and management of Yoga teachers and cover teachers.

2. Overseeing and supporting front-of-house staff in delivering exceptional customer service.

3. Assisting in the organization and execution of studio events and workshops.

4. Managing and maintaining studio facilities and equipment.

5. Facilitating communication between staff, teachers, and management.

6. Supporting the Studio Manager in creating a positive and inclusive studio environment.

Requirements:

1. Prior experience working in a Yoga studio or similar environment.

2. Strong organizational and communication skills.

3. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

4. Knowledge of Yoga and passion for building community through mindful practices.

5. Reliable and adaptable team player.

6. Proficient in basic computer skills and software.
