WHAT IS MOM & BABY CIRCLE?

This space is a little different to postnatal / partum Yoga and Mom & Baby Yoga, although movement, mindfulness and relaxation are all included.

It's more of a workshop feel than a class, we pause for tea and cake, we sit in the circle and chat, and over time may make amazing bonds with other women!

Mom & Baby Circle offers:
A welcoming and spacious reception with free herbal teas and water.
A circular style mat set up in the studio.
Introductions to each other and the circle.
An altar which is often themed which lies at the centre (ish) of the circle.
Toys to keep baby entertained.
A changing mat for, well you know what!
Plenty of tea, cake, cookies, fresh fruit.
Postpartum movement that also incorporates your baby into your practice.
Tools for calm and grounding such as breathing techniques which can be used in daily life.
Mindfulness meditations.
Time to chat, about anything and everything. This is guided both by the circle leader and the moms!
A relaxation to end, as it's likely the wonderful moms won't be getting enough time to just be.
Time to chat at the end of the circle.
A little gift to take home with you to support your well-being.

Your trained circle guide is on hand to make you cups of tea and watch over or hold baby if needs be!

This is a welcome and nurturing space for both mom and baby.

As a new mom it's an opportunity to spend a little 1-1 time with your baby but also really importantly to try and incorporate a little relaxation into your life, and an opportunity to be around other women who can empower you, support you, listen to you, and allow you to be yourself!


GOOD TO KNOW

We have a fully equipped studio with everything you will need for your practice, but you are more than welcome to bring anything that offers you and your baby comfort and support.

Free herbal teas on tap, plus a selection of fresh fruit, cake, and sweet treats.

We suggest you bring a bottle of water, but we do have water available in the studio.

Wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move and relax in.

Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes early for the class to speak to the teacher if necessary, and settle yourself down.

Feeding your baby is encouraged in this safe space.

If you need to change your baby we have a travel changing mat available.

We also have a selection of toys available to entertain baby.


ABOUT YOUR GUIDE

Our Mom & Baby Circle spaces are held by Karine who is currently taking part in extensive training in this area of expertise.

She is an experienced Yoga teacher, qualified in many areas of Yoga and holistic healing including Pregnancy Yoga.

She has years of experience holding space for moms, babies, and children as part of charity organisations she works for, providing wellbeing support to minority groups in and around Birmingham.


PRICING & BOOKING

Our Mom & Baby Circles available to book via the website SHOP and also via the Glofox app.

If you have a Yoga Borne monthly membership please book via the website shop.

One off circles are priced at £20 including refreshments. Course bookings will be available soon.


ADDITIONAL SUPPORT

A WhatsApp group is available to join for anyone who comes to a circle.
