World Mental Health Day: FREE Mindful Meditation (Online)
World Mental Health Day: FREE Mindful Meditation (Online)
End the day with rest — from wherever you are.
To mark World Mental Health Day 2026, join Yoga Borne studio owner Karine for a gentle online mindful meditation.
No journey to the studio, no special equipment and no experience needed. Just find yourself a comfortable spot, get cosy and give yourself a little time to pause.
What is mindful meditation?
Mindfulness is simply the practice of bringing our attention to the present moment — noticing what is happening in our body, our breath, our thoughts and our surroundings, without needing to change or judge any of it.
Meditation gives us a chance to step out of the constant doing of everyday life and create a little more space to simply be.
Why meditate?
Taking a few quiet moments for ourselves can be a valuable part of supporting our mental and emotional wellbeing.
Mindful meditation can help us to:
Slow down and create a sense of calm.
Connect with the breath and body.
Notice thoughts without getting caught up in them.
Create a little space between ourselves and the busyness of the day.
This isn't about emptying your mind or getting meditation “right”. It's simply an opportunity to pause, breathe and spend a little time with yourself.
From wherever you are.
Make yourself comfortable at home, dim the lights, grab a blanket or a cup of tea and join us online.
A gentle way to end the day, slow things down and give yourself some space.
