AUTHENTIC CACAO CEREMONIES
At Yoga Borne we are passionate about offering you truly authentic experiences, with fully qualified guides.
Cacao is certainly something that is having a “moment” in the wellbeing world.
There is much more to simply drinking Cacao, though this is a lovely part of a ceremony!
Let our fully qualified Cacao Ceremony Guide, Becky, take you on an immersive and magical journey.
Becky is also a Sound Healer and Meditation Teacher, which she weaves beautifully into the ceremony.
Becky shared some information with us about the ceremonies:
“Cacao is an amazing and delicious superfood, packed full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
Sometimes known as “food of the gods,” Cacao is from the seed found in the fruit of the Theobroma Cacao tree.
Cacao has a long history of use with traces of Cacao found in pots used by the Olmec Society of Meso-America (pre-dating the Mayans) in 1900 BC. Records from Ancient Mayans (250 BC) show that cups of cacao were buried with people and Cacao was used during ceremonies as well.
While I don’t want to say too much and spoil the magic, we will begin with a grounding meditation, we will mindfully drink organic ceremonial Cacao, I will play a series of instruments, go on a drumming journey, you will receive an individual Himalayan sound bowl healing experience, as well as other lovely treats along the way.”
Ceremonies are held in our intimate and serene sanctuary in the heart of Stirchley Village.
