RESTORE YOUR PELVIC FLOOR WORKSHOP
Holistic approaches to pelvic & core health workshop with Afsha Malik of Bloom Body & Soul Academy.
Women only.
Your pelvic floor is part of a much bigger picture.
Join Afsha Malik of Bloom Body & Soul Academy for a nourishing and practical afternoon exploring pelvic health through a whole-body, whole-person approach.
At Yoga Borne, we believe in compassion, connection and community — creating spaces where you can learn about your body without judgement, pressure or comparison.
This workshop is an invitation to reconnect with your body, understand your pelvic health and discover practical tools that you can take into everyday life.
Using Afsha’s BLOOM Method, we’ll explore the foundations of holistic pelvic and core health, looking beyond the traditional idea that pelvic floor health simply means strengthening your muscles.
B — Building Strong Foundations
Develop greater body awareness and an understanding of your embodied anatomy, with practical ways to connect with and understand your pelvic floor.
L — Lifestyle for Lifelong Health
Explore everyday habits that can influence pelvic health, including bladder and bowel habits, constipation, movement, posture and the beliefs we hold about our bodies.
O — Optimise Core & Pelvic Health
Discover the relationship between your breath, diaphragm, core and pelvic floor, including practical work around breathing mechanics, pressure management, deep core connection and pelvic floor release.
O — Optimise Movement & Mobility
Explore functional movement, fascia health, mobility and tension, and how the way we move can support our pelvic and whole-body health.
M — Maintain Strength & Vitality
Consider how strength, mobility, rest, pleasure and healthy habits can become part of your life long-term — rather than another thing to add to your to-do list.
We’ll also talk about…
Pelvic floor and core health can show up in many different ways. We’ll discuss symptoms including bladder leakage, bowel changes, constipation, prolapse, pelvic pain, vaginismus, tailbone and lower-back pain, as well as period pain and cramps.
We’ll explore why symptoms can occur and why “tight” doesn’t always mean strong, and “weak” doesn’t always mean the answer is simply more strengthening.
Alongside discussion and education, there will be practical elements to help you experience these concepts within your own body.
This is not about fixing, forcing or judging your body.
It’s about understanding it, listening to it and learning how to support it.
Expect an afternoon of education, embodied movement, practical tools, reflection and connection — in the warm, welcoming environment of Yoga Borne.
Women only. All bodies and experiences welcome.
No previous yoga or pelvic health experience is needed.
Come as you are. Leave with a deeper understanding of your body and practical ways to care for it.
All equipment is provided, free herbal teas, water refill and light refreshments available throughout the workshop.
We look forward to welcoming you!
